FALL IS HERE!!!!!!! WHO ELSE IS AS HAPPY AS ME?! No one?...
Anyways. It must have been about 28 degrees during this shoot, which made it feel like we had already passed my favorite season, but extreme measures must be taken for a good shoot right? Like when I took my jacket off to get better shots. Omg, so cold.
Being at college and trying to take photoshoots is kinda hard because it's hard to find places where other people aren't. We managed to say the least.
As for the pieces I'm wearing, I think this is a great outfit for the fall/thanksgiving time of year. I layered this navy blue Michael Kors trench ($100) on top of my corduroy jumper from Forever21 ($22.99), with a regular maroon turtleneck underneath. The inside of this jacket has a minor fur layer within the sleeves that help you stay so warm! I wish the whole jacket was lined with it. As for the jumper, I was quite hesitant to buy it because it obviously doesn't show off my figure (my exact words was buying it were "I look like a potato"). Hilariously enough, this has been my go-to outfit for the past month. I must've worn it about 3-4 times at least... different occasions of course.
You can of course swap out my sheer black tights for a real pair of black leggings (which I should've done because I was numb from the cold). This season is also all about over-the-knee or thigh-high boots, so I had to wear my new Ralph Lauren boots ($150). They have a small chunk heels that gives just the perfect amount of height to make it look more classy.
Now let's talk about the gorgeous bag I'm carrying. This brick red Michael Kors bag ($200) has just recently been added to my closet and I've easily fallen in love. My purses usually only range between brown and black, so I'm glad I've decided to go outside my comfort zone and get a staple bag that's also perfect for the autumn season.
This outfit just embodies fall and I couldn't be happier with it, considering it's super comfy! It's simple, yet classy and perfect for any holiday party.
