Casual Walks Around The City

Now that we're getting into the autumnal outfits, I was excited to walk the streets in this cute yet casual outfit.

So, we all know when we're out with friends, walking around the city, strolling for beautiful scenery, we want to be comfy, right?

BOOTIES: Well, let's start off with these chestnut booties from Clark's. I believe they were around $150, but not quite sure if you can still buy them since they are several years old. You can find a similar darker brown, suede pair here. Funny story, actually.. my cousin owned these same shoes first and I fell in love, so she went and bought me my own pair for Christmas, maybe 2-3 years ago? Wow, time goes by fast. Either way, they're a super comfy chunk heel that makes walking around bearable, unlike many other heels. You could have also paired

JACKET: This tan leather jacket is from New York & Company, which you can find here. It comes in tan (obviously), burgundy and black. The very first second I laid my eyes on this jacket, I knew I needed to have it. The built-in knit shawl that frames the jacket is basically like wearing a scarf, without actually having to wear one. If I had to say ONE thing that I wish this jacket did have, it would be a zipper, buttons or some form of closure, since it is getting cold here in Jersey.

BACKPACK:

This backpack is clearly from Michael Kors and is actually turned out to be way bigger than I thought. Don't get me wrong. It's still smaller than your average backpack, but yet bigger than a mini backpack. If that makes any sense LOL. Anyways, I actually got it from a seller on the app Poshmark, who sells all designer handbags at a small discounted price. I believe this backpack retails for about $350 and I got it for a little over half of that, so not too shabby. It's super comfy to wear and it's a lot easier for those days wear you just don't feel like carrying a purse and constantly having to reposition it on your shoulder. (that irks me). I just think it was such a great buy.
